The People's Cathedral at St. Isaacs

Worship at St. Isaac's is a blend of ancient traditions and contemporary expression. This type of worship is called "convergent worship."

St. Isaac’s Cathedral is a community committed to establishing the Kingdom of God on earth as it is in heaven. Established in 1989, the church faithfully continues to minister to the hurting and wounded in the Denver Metro area. St. Isaac’s draws its members from a broad geographical, social, racial, and economic base.

"My house is a house of prayer for all people" declares the scriptures. St. Isaac’s welcomes all people seeking a relationship with God and friendship in Christ.

St. Isaac’s Cathedral is also made up of several parish based communities (cell groups) and members are encouraged to be active in the service of others. Our greatest assets are not located in the Cathedral building, but rather it is the "living stones" of the people of God that bring the direct experience of Christ's love for this world.

The Cathedral is the seat and headquarters of the Christian Orthodox Church of America, a communion that is rich in tradition and progressive expression. St. Isaac's believes that the gospel is not only what we preach but what we are willing to live in a relevant and uncompromised way. It is the vision of this local church to fellowship with other ministries in the Colorado area and throughout the world.
